There is a new version of Samsung Magician software, version 4.3, which I discovered when I ran the program today.

The new version has provision to enable "Rapid Mode" on Samsung 840 Pro series SSD's which I think was only previously available on the EVO series.

This may be of interest to those that are running 840 pro series SSD's.

I have an 840 Pro, and had already upgraded Magician to 4.3. But I didn't know anything about this "Rapid Mode" feature, or notice that it was now available whereas it was not previously.

I've now ENABLED'd it, as my 8GB i5-4570 machine has plenty of spare resources.

I don't know if I should really be noticing the difference, or if it's just a small boost. But after the reboot it does seem like my machine is "peppier", that I can notice.

Anyway it certainly can't be wrong to enable it.
