Hey everybody i have a nvidia GTX 260 im using driver 301.42 and i noticed most nvidia card series supports this driver so if i were to upgrade from a GTX 260 to 400 500 or 600 series video card could i keep the current driver and use the new video card or would this cause a conflict?

Uninstall the driver before you fit the new one, then install the driver again once you have booted.

Maybe uninstall the card as well, Anthony...?
I don't know, but I like to be safe, or is that step not necessary?

Its a good point!! I assume when he says upgrade, he means use a different GFX Card, not use both at the same time.

Thanks

Alright then, thanks :)

As a quick note for the Original Poster, when you upgrade also make sure your computer (ie: Motherboard and Power Supply) can run them :)
