New web browsers don't work!

I also posted this in general discussion, but I figure it probably fits better here.

Whenever I install a new Internet browser, it stops working (it can't connect to the Internet). So I recently updated firefox and now I can't connect with it. And Opera has that new thing out that I wanted to test and now I'm stuck on IE D:

I upgraded from Vista, and the browsers I had installed on Vista are the ones that worked.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? If so, what can I do to fix it? Thanks!

nope haven't had this problem
are all your drivers installed and updated?
also you might want to reinstall
maybe there was a problem with installation

Hello Johnfn, sorry for your issue, but before we can offer a possible resolution or solution, we need more information. For starters, what verson are you currently running? A little more history about how you got from point a to point b. Also, are you on 32bit or 64bit?

I currently have the following, all working on my Windows 7 build 7100 RC:

Firefox 3.5.1, Firefox 3.6a1 (Minefield), and Firefox 3.5.2pre (Shiretoko). Minefield and Shiretoko are both nightly builds, meaning they get updated every single day - and all three work perfectly fine.
