Helloooo,
I installed windows 7 ultimate version on a singer x series netbook with a windows 7 starter SEA pre installed. I installed it using bootable flash drive. While installing, it restarts and again boot from the flash drive. So, next time I removed the flash drive when restarts the pc. It worked, but after completing the installation, after preparation for first time use, it restarts. but, it stops with a blinking cursor, and doesn't go any further.
If you have any idea, please help me.
Thanks in advance.

I would use the dvd that you used to put the files on the flash drive.

Leave the usb stik in through the entire process until you come to the screen to input your name.

And only hit the keyboard 1 time during the install process.

Hi
You may this simple way first.
Start over the installation from the USB drive. Make sure you delete the drive that you failed, install it there. Keep watching as installation from USB drive is significantly faster from DVD ROM drive. Once it restarts, you can choose one of these two option,

First, remove the USB disk immediately, you might plug it back when the installed windows done with booting and continue to finish the installation.

Second, leave the USB drive intact, but you immediately go to BIOS setup, disable the option of booting from USB drive, save the setting. Leave the second boot take place, and continue the installation..

Hope if it helps. And keep me posted. :)

Write the ISO to flash stick using Universal USB Installer with Win7 in dropdown menu.

Set HD first to boot in BIOS setup, boot the stick using one-time BIOS Boot Menu key at boot. Stick will be listed under USB, Removable or HD's.

Where did you get Win7?
