New windows 7 install , no wifi detected on laptop.

Hello , I just installed windows 7 ultimate x 64. I have a problem with wifi connection.
When I open Control Panel \ Hardware and Sound I see a yellow icon above the laptop icon.( I don t know if I m making any sense but I try to explain every little thing that might have some influence.
I have a HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 430 @ 2.27GHz,2267Mhz, 2 Core(s) .
If you could help me it would be much appreciated .

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums ... Do you have any errors in the Device Manager ? I think the error you are seeing in Hardware & Sound is because Windows is not showing the correct Model Number for your Laptop ? .. What is the exact Model Number of your Laptop ? ....

all have yellow icon , when I open one says " The driver for this device are not installed. ( Code 28 )
And at the Network adapters there is only :
Realtek RTL8168D/8111D Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)

Download the Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller Driver from the Link below ... The other missing Driver is the Card Reader but i am not sure which one .. If you select the Device right click then Property's Details Tab is there a Hardware ID there ? ...

I will be able to install the driver from the usb right? I mean I im using another pc right now.
At the "Unknown devices" there is Hardware Ids / ACPI\HPQ0004 and *HPQ0004

Yes you will be able to you need the HP ProtectSmart Hard Drive Protection ...

Ok I tried to instal the driver but at the finish of instalation it show me : The Realtek Network Controller was not found.If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable.
What it means?

Select the Network Controller right click select Property's / Power Management ...


. Untick “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power”

after I clicked yes it says : installation complete..I still switched the power management .

no it says that the Windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter.If you have a network adapter , you will need to re-install the driver.
I don t get it I mean I did the following steps : Control Panel-Hardware and Sound-Power Option.
There at " Choose when to turn off the display I selected Never for both On Battery and Plugged in.
I m not using any batter so I m always plugged in .
Than I tryed to reinstall the driver and it showed me the same thing.
So I tried Power Options \ Advance settings and manually selected Sleep ( switched to never ).

Have you Unticked both boxes under Network Controller / Property's / Power Management ?

ok I m trying to take a screen shot but honestly I have no idea how to do it since the screen shot button doesn t work .
When I type Network Controller in the start menu it gives me 4 options : View devices and printers , Device Manager , How to add new hardware and Update device drivers.
I can t find Network Controller / Property s

Does the Network Controller not show up in the Device Manager ?

No when I check on the view ( show hidden devices ) it brings out Network adapters and Non-Plug and Play Drivers..thats it

Boot in to BIOS Advanced Settings check to see if the Lan is enabled ...
