New Windows 7 update from Dec. 3 screwed up my Google

I went on to Google after the update and after I enter my search term...my results are all pressed to the left side and very hard to read...The Google toolbar also has a purple Y on it now ....checked the options and settings but can't figure it out...help anyone?
