I've been a loyal XP Pro user since 2002 (dual booting with Win 2K Pro). I tried Linux recently, but it wasn't for me. I couldn't catch on to the "distro", as they call them. But I finally broke down and bought a HP with Win 7 Home Premium pre installed, and I love it! XP users no longer have an excuse not to upgrade, as the deals are great. Wal Mart announced on Black Friday that a regular priced HP laptop at $650 will be available for $298. What a deal! I missed Vista, but all of my friends that had it trashed it, and some downgraded to XP Pro. So I didn't miss much. I love this new PC with all these features, a webcam. The learning process seems to be easy as well. I'm glad to be a new member here, and look forward to being here for years to come.
