Items for the new section, should automatically appear when you use it for the first time. But, as you use new appl. the older ones are removed. I personally like pin to start menu as it is permanent.

Good Luck with the "New" Start Menu.

Right-click on the taskbar,. chose new toolbar then Go to C;\:\users\username\AppData\Roaming|Microsoft\Internet Explorer and select the Quick Launch folder.

Give me a moment to find how to ass the stat menu Programs on the Quick Launch bar.

Right-click on the desktop,. choose New > Shortcut and type this in the Target box
"C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu

Now you have access to all your folders to move files to different folders,. create new folder, etc.
