Newbie with Random BSOD

I have recently constructed a new system as my old custom built had decided to after 5 years of torture. So I decided to build a new system, which would encompass Windows 7 X64 - So when I do work from home I was hoping the system could handle it.

Initially I had the random restarts with the Kernel 41 error - Decided to follow the advice here and and disable the Smart Step in the Bios etc. But still getting BSOD's I dont have any program that I know of to open the DMP file. So I have attached them here, so that someone can give me an idea, if its hardware of software related.

Just upped the voltage to the ram as well from 1.5v ti 1.651v

Hope someone can help soon as this is getting annoying.

Your .dmp file blames atikmdag.sys ( ATI Video driver ) as the culprit .... download the latest available driver for your card..Be sure that you completely remove the current driver with Driver Sweeper then install the new drivers (remove the Catalyst Control Center and only install the Display Driver)

If you are overclocking, return to your default settings until we get a stable system..

Thanks Tews,

I have set the BIOS back to Fail Safe settings, just to follow your instructions, nothing had been overclocked as I dont have enough cooling to overclock the system!!

I have a Creative Labs Audigy 2 - Which is well over 5 yrs old, I think those are the latest drivers, I could be wrong. I'm downloading the last package on the Creative Website to have a look anyway. Or do you think I need another trip to my retailer to purchase another Sound Card, although the MOBO does have on board sound.

I suspect AVG is causing the problem now, as an AVG driver was loaded 2 seconds before the crash. Please remove it with this tool: http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/avg_arv_sup_____.dir/avgremoverx64.exe

Replace it with MSE: www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/

Richard- no dumps are being generated. These are not 'Bluescreens', but other errors.

lardybloater- Try uninstalling your Realtek networking drivers, and installing a fresh copy downloaded from here: Realtek

Also, run an malware scan. I recommend Malwarebytes for now.

Random Shutdowns without BSOD's or dump files

Thanks again Jonathan,

I am attaching the latest set of logs, as I am getting just random shutdowns now. There just seems to be no pattern at all to them so just wondering if anyone can shed some light

Jonathan, I only have an old P4 power supply, i think it was running around 500w, it has three 12v supplies though, would this be able to handle an i5 board? Will run memtest tomorrow evening as the machine will not be needed tomorrow

I'm back again, seems as though, when I was trying a few things, Furtest, Speed Fan and Mobo control software, whilst running a test on the GPU, i managed to gain a BSOD which is attached. This also happened when the GPU was up around 75c and CPU around 65c.

I still get crashes when watching Streaming Video from the net. But lately its been random shutdowns with no warnings & no dumps, so will try furtest again soon.

I wouldnt of thought so, its a genuine oem version, but has the beta SP1 on from Microsoft, even though I have tried uninstalling BSP1, it doesnt want to remove itself from my install, so have just left it.
