As this a global forum, I don't think you will get the best response. Check out Whirpool (the desktop section) as it is in asutralian forum that has lot of threads relating to your question.

As to the actual question, neweg doesn't ship to australia, so you can't directly purchase from them. You can use an american service like shipit (or whatever they're called), but ive hear it's a lot of hassle. Plus you will have a lot of warranty issues, as not every product has a worldwide warranty. If use a service like shipit, they buy it under there name, which means the warranty becomes void as you yourself didn't purchase it.

My suggestion, is buy local, the high aussie dollar means the prices aren't that different. As for umart, i can't say from personal experience but it has a decent rep on whirlpool.

Ditto. ^^

MSY will also build your system for a fee, but you have to make sure you know what parts you want and that they have those parts in stock.

The 'local' PC shops also sell pre-built systems, but you really don't get your moneys worth.

It's cheaper to do a little legwork, and select the parts yourself.

I buy an average of $ 100 to $800 per week from NewEgg in computer parts, for Custom Build systems. TigerDirect is also my other source for quality computer equipment.
