Newly bought Acer Aspire M3970 has slow wireless (Download/Browsing)

So, I've recently purchased this new desktop computer, and, let it be no secret that I am no techy. My internet is slow, speedtest shows 1.6MB download speed, however that is proven to be a lie, as my downloading speed is being overhauled by a crippled snail.

Any help, advice, or so forth would be much appreciated. All I know is that I disabled IPv6, did the command prompt line that was suggested (Yes, my speedtest result got better, other than that, nothing happened)

I'm using the wireless card that is inside the case; 802.11n Wirelss LAN Card.
All drivers are up to date.

Disabled MacAffee firewall and installed a different one (AvG) nothing changed.

Please try the following:

Disable McAfee completely, click on Start and type msconfig, in Services Tab uncheck or disable any McAfee Services, test your connection after.

Also, see if it makes any difference if you are logged on in Safe Mode in Networking. Restart your computer, tap F8 and select this option.

An update will be appreciated.
