Nivida GTX 770 2gb or 4gb ?

Im a gaming person, I'd like to know which one should I get 2GB or 4GB. Im using an samsung 22" monitor.

I would like to try out using ultra high res on games. i keep thinking I should get the 4GB, but I dont want some of the gb to be useless if I am using an 22" monitor.

I would get the 4gb if you can afford as you may want to get a second monitor or even have a 4k monitor later?

Ultra high res? You should only game at your monitor's native resolution, if that's 1080p and you're sticking with one monitor then get the 2GB, it's plenty. You'll only need the extra at much higher resolutions or over multiple monitors.
