nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn and "Mass Murdering Backspace" (Typing Glitches)

The issue is infuriating as either the mouse or keyboard randomly either continuously and automatically types the same character with no way to stop it, or, (and this is worse) will continuously and automatically delete large amounts of my typing while I pound keys trying to make it stop its backspace mode.

The problem did not surface until a clean full install of Win 7 from Vista. I did notice at least one other post in another thread with identical desription, but no apparent solution. My greatest interest is in narrowing the problem down to either an OS or a hardware issue.

Again, I can eventually get the auto-repeat typing to cease by pounding enough different keys long enough. But, it's nerve-wracking watching large amounts of my typing disappear in reverse with no way to stop it!

Any and all leads appreciated.

Been dealing with computers since '88 and my first XT w/ the HUGE optional 10Mb hard drive. I STILL know next to nothing about them.
Try using a different keyboard for a while. see if the problem resurfaces.

I am a quite happy user of Logitech Bluetooth keyboards. Sometimes I'm not so happy; I know the issue you have, it occurs every now and then. The most clear, easy to detect reasons have been a dropped or otherwise bad connection between the keyboard and Bluetooth receiver, outdated Bluetooth drivers or bad batteries.

I nowadays have this issue not too often. I replace the batteries quite often, not waiting SetPoint (Logitech's control app) to tell batteries are low, using rechargeable ones so that I always have for each keyboard one set batteries in keyboard, at least one fully charged waiting and one set in charger to be charged. I also check and update Bluetooth drivers regularly.
