I've been looking at Dell offerings over the past few weeks, and noted that they only listed 32-bit, Windows 7 processors on the basic Inspiron 537s computer. Their other models only came in 64-bit. Last night, they removed 32-bit options from their customization pages. When contacted, Dell said they will only install the 64-bit processor for new builds. I checked HP's site and saw the same situation for Windows 7 systems - no 32-bit processors. That looks like a push to sell more hardware.
