:( No Aero?

hey guys, so i just installed windows 7 and my dad did too, but he has aero capabilities(on a older card than mine)i just know his is nvidia dont know other details but its older than mine (ATI Radeon 9250) and i dont have aero on a newer card than his? this is bs..

help?

Have you updated your video drivers to the latest?

After some digging.... Acer's website says your lappy isnt Win7 compatible... but it is Vista compatible... so try the Vista drivers!

when i click the color thing it displays another window,for the basic one not aero

This is a challenge, I will be just as happy as you if we can get this to work. Try this, but do not click on the top where it says to. I do not know where that goes.

I think the problem is your card isn't compatibile full stop with aero.

I'm pretty sure that card only supports shader model 1.4, and Aero needs shader model 2.0 i.e. you need a DX9 card, and while the 9250 is DX9 compatible to an extent, it really is only DX8.1.
