Solved No audio device output installed, no sound, video game controller...

Update

Downloaded Realtek. Upon installing. A blue screen appeared welcoming me to the installation process. As i click the "Next" button, a Pop up appears and says "No driver was supported in this driver package" Clicking "Ok" button closes the window and nothing happens.

Waaaa! am getting frustrated huhuhu :'(

I appreciate your efforts regarding the issue. I understand your frustration as troubleshooting issues require alot of patience.

According to the error it seems we have still not download the correct driver for the sound card on the system.

It might be you have not located the correct model number for the system or the driver. Please check this link from where you can identify the device on the system and install driver for it:

Also, you can refer to manufacturer community as well for this issue:

WAAAAA!!! UPDATE!!!

I am sooooo happy!! Its working now!! Thank you so much Sandeep!

I followed your link on toshiba forums....and found a thread there regarding this no sound thingy and guess what? There were so many threads with replies there and then i read a reply saying that it is actually a "sickness" of this specific model brand(yeh! would not get any Toshiba laptops from now on! hmmp! )

He said there that it is not actually from "within" the computer but actually a physical flaw of the laptop.

Now i remember...the day before this thing happend...i actually removed my laptop from where i have always placed it(on my desk), put it on my bag and went out. The guy on the forums said that its about the "physical shock" the laptop encounters when batteries are moved or unplugged. He's suggestion was to turn off the laptop then tap the sides of the laptop several times and turn it on again.

I did it and viola! when i opened my laptop again! the heavenly windows sound welcomed me! YEHEY! I checked my Device manager and yes! i can now see my "sound, video game controllers" with high definition audio device on it!

The first approach, since it worked and then the next day didn't is to use the System Restore and restore the PC back to an available restore date that is Prior to having the problem. This fixes many problems, including your problem many times.

System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools. System Restore will not delete any user data or e-mails.

BTW, please fill in the "My System Specs" rather than try to list them on a post (along with much of it not needed).

yah right... System Restore... suggestions of dumb people.. lol!
