no backup

my explorer.exe will not run.. i tried patching the dll files and now i have an error. i cannot find my backup and need someone to send me those files.

Hello Emocore, and welcome to Seven Forums.

You can use the tutorial for how to extract that file from your Windows 7 installation disc. This way you know that you have the same version, and that it's a safe copy.
