No BSOD, my computer just freezes

^Doesn't create a dmp file, my computer freezes with lines across the screen and I'm forced to restart in safe mode. I'm not sure what to do

Does this happen while using a specific program? How much RAM do you have? Some system spec.'s would help.

Have you ran any malware/Anti-Virus? Are your drivers up to date? Have you tried any fixes? How long has this been happening? A little more information would be useful.

Sorry, about that. 8gb of ram, I have not run any malware/Anti-Virus. I was getting blue screens but yesterday (or the day before) I enabled driver verifier because I was told I had to to enable dump files. I can only run it in safe mode, is there a malware/Anti-virus program I can install/use while in safe mode? I have run an hdd test and it came out good. My motherboard and ram are about a month - 2 months old. I have a Radeon 6870 video card. I will post more information when I get home, sorry about the little information I can give right now.

Malwarebytes is HIGHLY recommended. Have you tried What is Windows Defender Offline?

You can also try a sfc/scannow to check/repair any corrupted system files.
