no icon when trying to move picture into another folder

Is there some setting I can change to have both icons showing when I try to move a .jpg with the same file name into a folder that already has a .jpg by the same file name? In vista, it used to show both the new picture and a picture in the destination folder that had the same file name. Thanks.

Hi phoenixmark.

I have emulated your exact situation and I do get both thumbnails showing in my dialog box.

I tried the operation with cut, copy, as well as from different drives and finally from a different as well as the same folder and all the operations showed both thumbnails.

I am sure that one of the more informed members will be along to assist you soon.
