Hi
I'm running Win7 Ultimate, and recently (can't say exactly when) the Recycle Bin icon disappeared off the desktop. Since then I have tried everything I could find to return it, but with no luck. It is ticked in the Personalise - Change Desktop Icons section. Then I noticed that if I selected the Control Panel Icon to be shown on the Dektop it didn't show either. So then I both made a new shortcut on the Desktop and saved an image from the web to the Desktop and neither of them showed either. So it seems NO icons will show at all. They are all there if I look in Windows Explorer - Desktop, but they don't show on the actual desktop. Any ideas?
As a side note I was thinking they might be hiding somehow behind the desktop picture, but I couldn't even see where to turn that off.
