no internet access with bridge?

today i got a brand new pro5dij asus notebook and i wanted to play on xbox live but for some reason after i bridged the xbox Ethernet connection with the wireless connection it says there is no internet, its fine when its just on wireless

any ideas? i have home prem 64

This might help. I haven't tried this myself but the directions look easy enough.

If you don’t have a Sharing tab, it means:

• Your computer doesn’t have two network cards.

-Or-

• You’re trying to share a network connection that can’t be shared. Repeat step 3 with a different network connection.
