No internet connection when rebooting

I just installed Win7 Enterprise to a raw 1TB HD. Every time I reboot, I get no internet connection. Clicking on the troubleshooting link will fix the problem, but next time I reboot, no internet again.

The PC is connected by wire to a LinkSys router, which is also a wireless N router.

Can anyone help?

Let's approach this from both ends. Make sure you have the latest network driver. Check for the latest firmware for the router. If you have the latest router, do a hard reset.

Can other notebooks or wireless devices connect?

Is this a wired or wireless connection issue? Have you tried/tested on both connections and see if the issue persist?

Make sure that your computer is setup to 'Automatically Connect' in Control Panel\Network and Internet\Manage Wireless Networks.
