so i dont have internet on my main computer, i dont have a wireless card for it so its hardwired from my linksys. anyways i was givin an better linksys do when i tried to install it, it wouldn't show up in the list to connect. so i shut everything off, computer, modem and router, waited 5 minutes, turned the modem on, router then my computer.
so now when i go to network and sharing, nothing shows up. not even the local area connection. so i got the driver from another computer and i get an error message.

the realtek network controller was not found. if deep sleep mode is enabled please plug in the cable.

so is there any link where i can download the whole disk setup for my motherboard>? i have an ASUS M2A-VM.

please! i want to game:cry:

kcarn, welcome to the forums.

Let me see if I understand: your Realtek onboard LAN is not working anymore after you tried to use another modem? That is weird.

What is your Device Manager showing for the Netwrok Adapter? Have you tried to update the driver from there?

You haven't filled in your full system spec so I don't know if your using 32 or 64 bit ... the link I've given is for 64bit. (Change the OS option at the top if your using 32 bit)

Did you download and install the Realtek LAN Driver V7.3.522.2009 for Windows 32/64bit Windows 7.(WHQL)?
