No lights on ethernet

Ethernet ports not flashing. Both the green and amber light do come on. The green one might blink for a second the disappears. Here is what I have tried.

Ethernet ports not flashing. Both the green and amber light do come on. The green one might blink for a second the disappears. Here is what I have tried.

1. Took cable hooked it to another computer different wall jack. = works fine.

2. Took cable from same wall jack = works fine.

3. Different cable and different wall jack = doesn't work

4. Took CPU connected into a entirely different room with different cable and wall jack = work fine.

5. Uninstalled driver, restarted. Drivers got re installed doesn't work on original cable and wall jack

Any suggestions?

Call the ISP. You may have no connection.

No possible the other computers wouldn't work either. Just to be clear I'm talking about the lights on the back of the computer. Not the modem.
