No multiple display after installing Windows 7

Hi,

I have a ACER Aspire 2920Z Laptop which has the graphics card - Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset.

I recently performed fresh install of Windows 7 on this Laptop. The OS automatically downloaded and installed all the drivers. However after installation, now I am unable to connect to my TV using S-video.

When i connect the s-video, nothing happens. The application does not even detect the connection.

On launching the Intel Graphics application - under Display Devices, it shows the Operating Mode as Single Display. Please refer the attachment.

Before upgrading to Windows 7, it used to show Multiple displays.

Have also attached the Dxdaig information.

Can somebody help with getting the S-video display to work.

hi rinzyyy and welcome to sevenforums,

i'm afraid i'm not going to be much help, except to say that i had a similar problem on my laptop with intel 945gm graphics. i think intel haven't finalised their windows 7 drivers yet, which is a real pita, as the xp drivers offer more functions and features.

i was at my friend's house telling him how wonderful my new os was, when he asked me if i could plug my laptop into his tv. he had a spare s-video input and lead, so i said sure, no problem.

windows 7 couldn't do it.

luckily my laptop still dual-boots xp, so a quick reboot did the trick...

let's hope intel sort this out!
