I have a problem I haven't come across before.

Let's say, I am moving a file from a folder to another or changing a file's name.
These changes do not show in Explorer unless I right click and select refresh.

Has this happened to anyone?
Is there a solution?

The computer which has this problem has Windows 7 Home Premium x64.

Start with a system restore point
then try this
If it does not work put the setting back the way it was.

Click on Start at the lower left
Type the word regedit in the search box and hit enter
Right click HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and click Find
Type dontrefresh in the search box and then hit enter
You will see DontRefresh, right click it to change the settings, set it to 0
Boot your computer. It should be set properly.
Be sure to make a system restore point first, to restore registry if necessary.

Sorry for the late reply, I didn't have internet to reply to.

After the search is over, regedit doesn't play anything such as DontRefresh or anything.
It just says the search is over.

And I realized that the problems is in a library called Movies.
I deleted the library and created it again, but the problem is still there.

I typed cmd on the search box.
I eight-clicked it and chose run as administrator.
It opened as "C:\Windows\System32".
I wrote regedit.
But still there is no file found as dontrefresh.

I right-clicked regedit and chose run as administrator, same thing.
-As I know regedit already have to be run in administrator mode anyway-.

As I said before this only happens in a Library named as Movies.
It happens even if I change the name of the folders.

Computer has Windows 7 Home Premium.

Computer has 250 GB HD and this library has nearly 150 GB Data in two different folders.
Can it be related to that?
