No Network Connections

Hello,

just bought a MSI U135 as a present and cannot get internet connection, although my laptop connects without any problems.
Wifi is enabled on the MSI. all software associated with the Network Adaptors is upto date. Any sugestions please

I am not aware of any connection issues with this notebook so it could be your antivirus or third party software , are you running norton or mcafee ?

Is the Wireless turned off?

From the Users Guide: Press and hold the Fn button then press F11 to enable or disable the 3G/Wireless LAN/Bluetooth WiMax function.

Select: Notebook, Wind Netbook, U135 then click on the Manual button.

What does ipconfig show?

Click on Start then Run and paste the following into the Run box, exactly as show, including double quotes:

cmd /c "ipconfig /all > postme.txt & ping yahoo.com >> postme.txt & notepad postme.txt & del postme.txt"

and press ENTER.

A file will open in Notepad. Please copy and paste the contents here. Close the Notepad window and the file will be deleted and the Command Prompt window will also close.
