No screen display until Windows begins

The monitor screen used to be displaying POST progress before Windows begins. But the screen now stays in black until the Windows begins. What could be the remedy?

There is a setting in the bios to show or not. If you are not having any problems with your machine, it really isn't necessary.

when did you first notice this happening? Were there any specific changes to software or hardware settings you can remember making just before that?

What exactly is the first thing you see after the black screen?

The first thing after the black screen is Windows screen.

I think I have found out why the problem. I was using DVI to HDMI adapter. Another word I was using HDMI input of the TV being used as the monitor. The TV has DVI input so I tried this input instead, then the POSTing was displayed.

I wonder why POST is not displayed if the DVI to HDMI adapter is used. Is the POSTing display in analog mode?
