No Sound from Speakers

I have a Lenovo G555 laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit. Now I get no sound from my speakers. We have reinstalled the drivers for the speakers but still no sound. You guys got any ideas?

Was there some sort of upgrade or hardware change recently? With most laptops you have a sound on/off button. Make sure that it is on, next you have to use the fn button and the sound up button. Press the fn key and the sound up key at the same time, tapping the volume up key to desired sound level.
