Alright, I have a dual boot system on the PC in my specs. Windows 7 Home Premium x32 and Windows XP Pro x32. I installed 7 then XP using the tutorial on this forum. I've gotten all the drivers and everything I need in both OS's. Except, sound. Doesn't work in 7 or XP. On XP, after installing my graphics card driver, before installing .NET, I tired opening the graphics console, and got an error saying I needed .NET to open BUT an error sound played. I then tried to play a song in WMP, and heard the same error sound (a kind of beep) saying something like "Windows Media Player cannot play this file...." I've tried searching Windows Update, and googled for it, but nothing works. So basically, if I'm getting an error the error sound plays, but if I try to play a mp3 file or a YouTube video, no sound, in either OS.
EDIT: I just found a driver that works in Seven, but NOT in XP. And XP is my main concern for a few reasons.
