No Sound on HDMI out

Found out last night my HDMI sound doesn't work either, so I'll give the Dox 185.20 a whirl later today.

Have a Sony 3d and a Dell desktop. Had HTML working for a while then it quit. Had "not installed" message. Spent time plugging in and unplugging, uninstalling and installing drivers. Worked for a while then went out again.
Start messing with it again. Finally uninstalled the HD graphics driver and then went to the "PLayback devices Menu" Had not restarted the computer yet. HDMI was listed there, so made it the primary audio. Restarted the computer and the HD graphics driver installed. Had Sony TV listed as sound output instead of HTMI so made it the primary output. Right now have HDMI digital sound output to my Sony, then it outputs the music to my stereo by a Optical SPDIF. Multi channel sound is working quite well at the moment.
