no sound please help

I have a windows 7 home premium installed on my iMac, but for some strange reason te sound wont work. if i switch to mac it does work and in windows all drivers looks OK. no yellow sign by the d sound card in control panel and as far as i know the settings are alright except i have gotten something wrong which i cant seem to figure out at this point but its driving me crazy any suggestions PLEASE.

Mac? Im guessing onboard sound and not a Child card. This case you need to Find out that your motherboard is, I use CPU-z Once there and running goto the Motherboard tab ,

Once you have the motherboard, goto there site and download the Drivers from there.

Hi,

You need to know your motherboard information since demon believes its an on-board soundcard issue. If it is, it might allow you to get updated drivers that might solve the problem.

In fact, you should provide all your hardware details since that helps us help you quicker. You can use CPUZ, or you can use this tool:
