I just installed windows 7. My motherboard is a EP45-UD3L F3. I went to both Gigabyte and realtek for the latest sound driver that is suppose to work with Windows 7. So far no sound is coming out. I've started up a song in media player and made sure the volume was turned up. Went into the back and tried all the speaker jacks thinking maybe it changed somewhere along the way as I only have a pair of speakers with a single jack plug in. Still nothing. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi there
try using the VISTA driver (X64/X86) that came with your motherboard CD.

Cheers

Right click on the speaker in the system tray and select playback devices and make sure it has selected the correct device and if it is then open sound manager and see if it has detected the correct jack and make sure the speaker configuration is set up properly and run a Auto Test to see if jou have any sound coming out.

Ok fixed it. The set up got changed from what XP had. I didn't actually go through the set up every time I switched jacks.
