Solved No Time/Date on Toolbar

Suddenly, my Dell laptop has stopped displaying time and date on the toolbar at the lower left hand corner of the monitor. ¿What's going on?

Sounds like it may have gotten turned off, I don't know why, but you can check using this tutorial,

Make sure it is on like in this screenshot,

Thanks for the reply, but it's not a system icon that I have lost. There used to be something like a tab on the taskbar (I'll correct my "Toolbar" misnomer) at the right end of the task bar. Text indicating date and time. I can find no reference to such a thing anywhere.

Alright, misleading names aside, I do know exactly what you were talking about, the clock and date in the lower right,



If you will humor me and try the tutorial you will see I was pointing you to the correct place.

While it may not fit the usual look of an icon, it is considered one in this instance.

You will notice in the screenshot I posted that the other items in the same area next to the clock are there also.
