Have done a clean install of my tester machine and after a few updates including IE11 it just sits there searching for updates - overnight last night.

Tried the readiness tool chksdsk and sfc malware scans etc etc ad nauseum reboots x 100 times - nothing.

Any ideas please before I have to reinstall??

hmm that has been running now for 20 minutes and no sign of any updates coming through. So looks like I am stuck with the install unless there is anything else I can do:(
