Replaced 150GB drive with 1000GB and reinstalled Win 7 from image off of external drive, everything worked fine until I partitioned new drive with Acronis. New drive showed C=100GB,E=50GB & I=850GB with OS on C. I changed E to 425GB & I to 425GB and did not touch C at all. It told me to re-boot for changes to take effect and when I did, it did not! I then tried my win 7 recovery disk and discovered all my drive letters have changed from what they were and recovery console tells me nothing can be recovered because no back up date has been established. My Wife was in a hurry for her external drive so I had already deleted the win 7 image. Now I find my OS is on "F" drive along with all my files. Dos shows me all these files are intact but I know of no way to access them or get into windows from dos. Any help will be greatly appreciated, as I sure don't want to lose over a 100GB of info.
Thank you.

use FREE Rescue Kit Express | PARAGON Software Group

Boot the Paragon cd - select Normal Mode , then Boot Corrector.

Correct drive letters in the system registry.

If this fails boot free Partition Wizard bootable CD, use it's Partition Recovery Wizard to try to reconstruct C and boot it, using Rebuild MBR from Boot Tab if necessary, or booting the Win7 DVD Repair console or Repair CD to run Startup Repair up to 3 separate times to repair the System boot.

In the future use free Partition Wizard bootable CD which is what we use here to help with hundreds of partioning operations without a single failure.
