No windows update for the last month

I have changed windows update option as soon as i installed 7 so that i can download and install updates manually.

Anyway, I've been doing updates probably once a week like you should, and for the last month I've not had any updates. Any ideas why?

Windows updates only come out on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.

It's also known as Patch Tuesday. On rare occasions (if a security vulnerability warrants it), Microsoft might release a patch out-of-band (meaning not on patch Tuesday)...but that is pretty rare.

well, thats patch tuesday. They regularly release updates on that day, if its a critical patch it will be released "out of band" meaning as soon as its ready.

If you use Windows Defender, updates come every few days.

Definition updates for Microsoft Security Essentials come in every day usually!

I was getting many updates weekly also, and often one or more would fail. Then one week they had all installed successfully. Haven't had ANY for about 3 weeks.
