no wireless connection

i have a toshiba wireless laptop and i cant connect to the internet wireless,i can connect if im wired.please help

Hi,

When you are trying to connect through wireless are you connected to your router?
You would have selected it from a list like:


Does it show you are connected?

Do you have any other wireless devices to test with?

just downloaded ie9 and my wireless connection has come back,i dont think its anything to do with ie9 but it is working,if the problem comes back i will get back to you....thank you

I don't know if it's anything to do with ISP bandwidth and number of machines but 7 does seem to drop out quite a bit since installed on 3 machines and all the netbooks also suffer from this symptom. Apart from the list, open Network and Sharing Centre and you should see a 'red cross' between your network name (SSID) and the internet:
Option 1: Click on the cross to 'repair' the connection.
Option 2: Switch off the router for 20 seconds then back on again.
