No YouTube on new Firefox but Chrome OK

Seems like Google is playing games again. I cannot access YouTube at all on the new Firefox (29.1) but no problems with Chrome. In FireFox, I get a blue message box say, "Having Problems?" When I click on it the message says my ISP, CenturyLink, is too slow. I should switch to CableOne. Well, CenturyLink is 12mb and CableOne is "50mb," so they say. We had CableOne for 1 month and dropped it because it would not work on the weekends and never got faster then about 1kb.

The pisser is I can play embedded videos at full HD with no burps. I cannot get the exact same video to come up at all on YouTube.

Because my wife works at home, she could not tolerate emails with attachment getting dropped and not having the ability to post her work online. With our slow CenturyLink we had, still do not have, any problems. The longest outage was about 2 hours. The speed is very consistent so foo to you Google.

Are there any tricks to getting YouTube on Firefox? Chrome is too butt ugly. It feels too 1990 for me and I'm no kid.

The default Firefox 29 looks the same as Chrome oddly enough,

Hardware Acceleration

I would look into turning hardware acceleration on or off whichever. You can do a web search for Win7 change and if that don't work try searching for your graphics adapter method. This is a possible solution.

Fixed it. Was a cookie problem. I don't seem able to manage cookies like I did in the past. Now, in order to have ALL sites work correctly, I have to allow cookies. In the past I always blocked cookies and let them in when needed.

Thanks for the update,
Seems a odd popup message for having a cookie issue in Firefox,
I don't believe many popup messages are very helpful or informative but saying internet connection is slow is just bazar

Not solved! YouTube plays 15 seconds and I get the circle of death. All day.
