I bet this question has been asked before many times, but do i really need to pay the extra buck for eset smart security firewall?

Is windows 7 firewall enough?

I paid a full year license for avast internet security and im fed up with their firewall.

If the question is do you need a firewall, yes. If the question is, is win 7's good enough, thats up to you. I personally dont think so.

BTW I am running Eset Smart securiy with firewall

Hi Ken thanks for the answer, im testing right now the eset smart suite, could yo please take a look here:

Click on check my firewall please, i have yellow, that's not good enough protection, what do you have?

update: i solve that issue everything was on the router's configuration.


But my original question still remains, do i really need to pay the extra bucks for the eset smart security's firewall?
with the router's firewall only (i passed the test) ...
