Nokia 5130 driver

I have a nokia 5130 xpress music. But when I connect to the PC, Windows does not recognize as normal. Already installed the nokia pc suite, and for drivers already have everything installed.

Have a look at the attachment of what my handset looks like when it's plugged in. Can you not use PC suite, or is it just what the icons look like that is the issue?

Hey,

Uninstall then reinstall but now in compatibility mode with Vista SP2. But the problem remains the same.

BTW

These icons all appear, even if the pc suite on or not.

Can you clarify what the "problem" actually is? Your phone is obviously recognised, as your screen shot shows Windows has installed the drivers.

Can you use PC Suite or not?

I just want to have the phone recognized as a whole. In other words, have the options that should have ..
As I showed above these links, I have the image of my phone and the various options that accompany it.

For example, take my phone as shown in this image. With this all-inclusive.

And yes, I use the nokia pc suite.

Right, I'm with ya now. Have a read of this - http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/2803-device-installation-settings.html

And from what I can gather, if it's not showing like in the image of the N95 you posted, it's not compatible for those features. Granted it looks better, but if you're able to do what you want anyway, it's not really a "problem".

I already have the computer up to date as much as you give. This should be the same problem that windows can not detect the phone properly.

By the way, how did be in for this icon of "WINDOWS7X64?

The same as 32bit if the device isn't compatible. If you don't have the fancy icons for your handset, just like I don't on mine, then your issue is with Nokia, not Windows 7. Not every device is going to have a real icon, because not all devices are compatible.

From the first link you posted...

Microsoft has published a list of compatible hardware and only a handful of devices are currently supported.

From the second link you posted...

It is up to the hardware manufacturer to determine if their device will be compatible with Device Stage.
