I want to format my laptop and I thought that windows7 would be a nice solution.
However in the acer website it seems that my laptop is not compatible with Windows 7.
What shall I do?
Is there any trick?
I am almost ignorant so if it sounds stupid I apologise
Welcome to seven forms friwise:On the Acer site Acer Support - Download Drivers It lists windows seven 32 and 64 bit and when chosen it states "This page shows only drivers NOT contained in windows seven". No drivers are shown. So that says to me that seven should contain all the drivers you will need. Evidently all the drivers you'll need are contained o the win 7 disc. Fabe

Thanks a lot!
So I shall install Vista drivers of any kind in a 32 bit version of 7.
Sounds ok
How do I know if my version of 7 is 32 bit?
Hihihi.
It shall be writen on the dvd?
What it means is you shouldn't need any drivers from Acer. The version should be on the side of the box or possibly on the disc. Acer lists all of the windows seven versions with the same statement as written above. So just install it. Should you run into any problems post back and we'll help you solve them. Yet it doesn't look like your going to. Good luck with seven. Fabe
