Non-Executable Files Won't Unpin from Start Menu

I noticed a bit of a weird error with the Windows 7 start menu. Whenever you drag an item into the start menu that isn't an executable file or a shortcut to an executable, it will create an entry, but it doesn't give you the full range of menu options to unpin it when you right click it.

For example. I selected my address bar in Firefox and directly dragged the link in the task bar to pin a shortcut to the website. Here's the menu I get when right clicking it, as opposed to right clicking, say, the Media Center shortcut.

So as you can see, there's really no way to unpin the website shortcut from the start menu unless I take the easy route by manually reseting the taskbar's contents back to default.

Any ideas?

This is a known, and reported bug in the OS, at the present time the resetting method is the only workaround available

Don't know where this info. might be stored. Going to have to go looking for it. Not listed under AppData...Start Menu for default user or for my user. Anyone know where the pinned items are stored?

Last Time I checked on this, couple of builds ago, Brink's tutorial was the only place that even suggested a solution anywhere on the web

No problems mate, only reason I know that the web was bereft of a solution is that I went for about 3 days on an earlier build with Two items that couldn't be removed, until Brink came to the rescue as usual - then I re-installed the next day anyway Doh!

Thanks for taking time to reply to my inquiry, but most of all, thanks for the warm greetings. I had a feeling somebody must've brought this issue up since it seems like pinning such items would be a common practice for most users in normal day to day use of Windows 7. It seems like sort of a silly, simple bug, but hopefully it'll be addressed in future builds.
