Solved Normal CPU temperature?

Hello guys.

I'm not worrying or anything- I just came to ask if my temperature is alright for my i5-2500k.

And what is Distance to DJ max?

I think that is TJ max (thermal junction max)---the temp at which the CPU will shut itself down.

Your temps are OK for an average temp room, poor if you are in a walk-in freezer, and fantastic if you are in an operating furnace.

Thanks mate. I will consider moving my motherboard and the rest of the setup on top of our furnace.

Found this...

TJ Max is just the temperature that the cpu cores go in to thermal override and throttle the cores to keep the die from burning up. Real Temp does not show actual core temperatures from my understanding. The number being reported is just the TJ Max (100) minus the distance to that temperature.

In other words never let the cores reach distance to TJ Max = 0. As to how far away one should keep it? The further the better.
