Norton 2010 in Public Beta

Norton Internet Security 2010 and Norton AntiVirus 2010 is now in Public Beta

i tried norton 360 ans NIS09, and the moment i install it, i get an error that a driver has been blocked due to incompatibility and most if its features wont work. Let's try Norton 2010.

Hi septprince, are you talking about norton products sold in 2006?
New norton products are nice as compared to old ones. No more resource hog.

has norton become 'not its own virus' yet? that was a big turn off, plus (idk about now) it used to eat ram like a pissed off crocodile.

The new Beta is going to be a lot faster - but it is still not as good as other cheaper (even free) suites.

Personally, I uses Avast! and MBAM and Windows FW and that's it.

best free option is avira antivirus free and comodo firewall. Norton sucks.

This thread is to implement that Norton 2010 beta is out, instead of comparing it with other AV.

I trust either NOD32 or Kaspersky. They both have received Advanced+ with 3 star certification in recent AV comparatives test.
