norton internet security 2010

When i play a game and then i exit to windows i found my norton internet security 2010 open in desktop.
Any ideas why?

turn on the "game mode" in the antivirus. Go to the options and there is something about full screen view. This makes norton stop notifying you when it detects a full screen program.

On the other hand, then you wont know if norton is messing up with you game programs.

Then do the first suggestion and also exclude the game folder from norton's real time protection

Do you know how can i backup/export my settings/preferences?
Because i will format my pc i dont want to set everything from the beginning espesialy the email blocked list.
And if so how can i import back again my settings/preferences after reinstall NIS 2010?

Tray icon stuck and shows always silent mode.
The silent mode is off.
This happent after i exit from gaming back to windows.
