theog is right, in that Malwarebytes seems to be universally known and respected. I have also used the following apps with good results:

Ad-Aware and

Trend Micro House Call (this is not from Trend Micro HijackThis)

I agree/use malwarebytes (free) as well as superantispyware (free) with Norton and they all seem to "play" nice with each other

I'm currently running Norton 360 along with MSE and Comodo Firewall/Defense.

They all play well together with no conflicts. MSE plays well with most AV's and any added layer of protection you can get is a nice plus.

As theog said, adding Malwarebytes would be a good idea

My highest recommendation is "Spyware Doctor". I use it with Norton 360. Excellent protection, strongly recommended. It, in my opinion, it so far the most advanced anti-spyware product I had used.

Norton, MSE plus the HIPS software in the Comodo Defense+ sounds like a lot of computer security bases covered!

I note you are running Win 7 64-bit.

Super Anti-spyware is good choice as it is 64-bit native.
Their update server is however somewhat slower than Malwarebytes server.

I've been using Norton for 3 years and in that time no malware has got past it.

Hahah! Brilliant avatar! Absolutely fantastic!

On a side note, Norton does very well, but if you want to "feel" secure, then you can add more software.

I I've been using Norton for 3 years and in that time no malware has got past it.

I had Norton on my computer for less than 6 months and it got nailed with a Trojan Downloader followed by 2 consecutive HOSTS file infections the second of which crashed the computer during the removal process.
