Not able to install windows 7.

Hi community members.
This is my first post here.
So, the problem I've been facing is, i installed windows 10 tech preview on top on windows 8.1(which came preinstalled on my laptop). I forgot to take a recovery image and now i am stuck as i am not able to install either windows 7 or windows 8.1 on it. I made a bootable usb drive and went into bios to change the boot order. But in the boot order, it only shows my toshiba HDD and not my udb or dvd drive. I am also not able to install it from within Windows 10 tech preview.

If someone could help please help me, I'd be reall thankfull.

What did you make a bootable usb drive of ?

How did you create it ?

You don not want to install an OS from within another OS.

Disable secure boot in the bios, set bios to defaults and try again.

Give us detailed error messages.

You could try to refresh Windows 8:

Refresh Windows 8

In Technical Preview, browse to Settings>Update and Security>Recovery to see if you still have a way to roll back to WIndows 8. If not you can Clean Install - Windows 8 from the booted installation media provided in blue link tutorial, following those steps exactly.
