Hi,

My VB application is using Excel objects for display the output. My application is working fine in Windows XP but Windows7 am facing a new problem while setting a pagesetup properties like as below

.PageSetup.LeftHeader = "&"Wide Latin, Normal"&14

I got an error 1004, "Impossible to define a property LeftHeader in PageSetup class." As like i can get an error for setting other pagesetup proprerties too.

Could you please suggest, how can i handle this issue?

Thanks in advance...

Regards
John

Hello John -

My VBA is really rusty but some thoughts...

Do you also have "center" and "right" properties in the pagesetup? If so, perhaps "left" is competing for space.

Do you have a printer attached? Excel needs to communicate with the default printer when doing any page setup tasks. Also note that the printer driver will also come into play. For example, if you received the code from another person and their code references a Xerox printer driver but you use an HP printer driver, you could get an error.

Good luck tracking it down - please post if you find the solution!

Hi All,

Due to the admin rights only i faced the pagesetup error. Now i have changed my users rights as like local admin. so i can able to set up all the available pagesetup properties.

Thanks for all your valuable support.
