Not BSOD, but frequent shutdowns that do not show BSOD

Okay, I recently downgraded from 10 back to 7, partially because of this issue. It seems to happen whenever I am playing Steam or rendering a video with Sony Vegas Pro 13. Through the event viewer, this is what it shows me in the attached picture. The 6008 event tells me this:

I don't even know where to go at this point. I thought it may be a power issue, but my PS is 500W and my system runs at 272W.

Ok mate now some more specs would be helpful but in the meantime just how did you get back to 7 from 10 because you are just one of many who report issues after doing so.

Personally I do a complete wipe of the drive before I reinstalled 7 after using 10 on my machines as I have a feeling that remnants of the 10 are left after the 7 is reinstated.

are you connected to a battery backup by any chance? Also, check your CPU temperatures when running games/apps that can generate some heat.
